What you're running into is this: when you utilize a template, PPT has no way of knowing whether you desire to add the new layouts to the existing collection or really practice desire to supersede the old (same-named) layouts with the new ones. It could hands become either mode. The developers decided to have the "First, do no harm" route; when in uncertainty, preserve the onetime, add the new, rather than supersede the old WITH the new.

Personally, I think they should accept asked the human in cases like this, just as yet, I don't run the universe or fifty-fifty this minor section of it.

It might be possible to sort this out automatically with some VBA though. Exercise you lot have a coder bachelor or are y'all one?
